





















Cham Brahman people in Ninh Thuan celebrate Kate Festival
The Cham Brahman people in the south-central province of
Ninh Thuan celebrate the traditional Kate Festival annually. The festival draws
a large number of local residents and tourists. The festival begins with
traditional rituals, including the procession of Goddess Po Ina Nagar, who
taught the Cham people to grow rice, weave cloth, and raise livestock, helping
them have a prosperous life. It is followed by spectacular art performances by
Cham men and women in colourful traditional attire. The audience wis treated to
graceful fan dances accompanied by the rhythmic beats of the Paranung drums and
the melodic tunes of the Saranai flutes. Everything blends together, creating a
