Khmer pagodas “Ngo” boat race held in Hau Giang

A “Ngo” boat race was held for Khmer pagodas in Vi Thanh city, Hau Giang province on November 10, drawing 19 teams from Hau Giang and Kien Giang provinces. The event was part of the Ok Om Bok (worshipping the moon) festival, which is held on the fifteenth day of the tenth lunar month every year with plenty of entertainment activities, art performances, traditional sports and games. Cao Bang preserves traditional culture to develop community-based tourism
