The Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company Ltd (VAECO) is the only maintenance organization in Vietnam approved for aircraft field maintenance by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, the US Federal Aviation Administration, the European Aviation Safety Agency and many other aviation authorities. VAECO is currently providing field maintenance services for the entire fleet of Vietnam Airlines and Cambodia Angkor Air. Ancient house at 87 Ma May is one of the few houses in Hanoi which are preserved and kept as attractions, exhibitions providing information about the history of Hanoi. The house was constructed around the 19th century. It was renovated by a UNESCO-funded organization to a close approxi mation of its original condition in late 1998 and was recognised as a national cultural-historical site in 2004.
