Ca Mau strives to become clean energy hub of Mekong Delta
Ca Mau province has been integrating targets and indicators
on greenhouse gas emission reduction and climate change adaptation into its
socio-economic development planning, demonstrating a clear and consistent
political commitment to achieving net-zero emissions. Currently, the province
has 16 wind power projects with a total capacity of 870 MW and more than 2,800
rooftop solar systems with a combined capacity of 295 MWp. The province
continues to promote renewable energy development, particularly coastal and
offshore wind power, aiming to become a clean energy hub of the Mekong Delta by
