Hanoi (VNA) - General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and State President To Lam on August 26 presented appointment decisions to three new Deputy Prime Ministers, and Minister of Environment and Natural Resources, and Minister of Justice for the 2021-2026 tenure.
Authorised by the President, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Office Pham Thanh Ha announced the President’s decisions on the appointment of Nguyen Hoa Binh, Ho Duc Phoc and Bui Thanh Son as the Deputy PMs, and Do Duc Duy as Minister of Environment and Natural Resources, and Nguyen Hai Ninh as Minister of Justice.
Party General Secretary and President To Lam congratulated the officials, affirming the appointment demonstrated the Party, National Assembly, and Government’s recognition and acknowledgement of their contributions and devotion to the domains that they have been in charge of.
He asked the officials to continue promoting the noble revolutionary tradition, and upholding their moral qualities, stay absolutely loyal to the Party, Fatherland, and people, wholeheartedly serve the Fatherland, and the people, keep studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle, and try to excellently complete all assigned tasks, making positive contributions to the cause of national building and safeguarding in the new situation.
Lam said the newly-appointed Deputy PMs must promote the Government’s valuable experience, harmoniously, drastically and effectively carry out the Government’s missions in accordance with the Constitution and regulations, while proposing and leading the Party building work, and completion of the law-governed socialist State which is of the people, by the people, and for the people, and led by the CPV.As for the two new ministers, Lam asked them to make concerted efforts, overcome challenges, and complete missions entrusted by the Party, State and people.
Affirming that the Party, State and people have high confidence, and pin high hopes on the Government in the national development cause in the coming time, the top leader expressed his belief that with the tradition of solidarity, as well as support from ministries, sectors, localities, and the whole people and military, the five officials will excellently fulfill their assigned tasks.
Deputy PM Nguyen Hoa Binh, on behalf of the newly-appointed officials, promised to make all-out efforts to promote the achievements that the Government has obtained, remove bottlenecks, overcome difficulties, and make contributions to the concretisation of the resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress.
Binh said he hopes to receive more attention, direction, and support from leaders of the Party, State, ministries, agencies and localities./.
