Cherry blossom season in Mung village – New tourism destination in Phu Tho
In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026, Mung village, nestled halfway up the mountains in Cao Phong commune, Phu Tho province - is draped in shades of pink from blooming cherry apricot blossoms, complemented by the brilliant yellow of mustard flowers in full bloom. Hundreds of trees blossom simultaneously, tinting entire hillsides pink, while roads and terraced fields are highlighted with yellow hues, creating a poetic landscape amid the northwestern mountains that attracts large numbers of visitors for sightseeing, photography, and experiences.
