Vietnam’s role as a founding member of the Board reflects the consistent implementation of the CPV’s foreign policy, contributing to enhancing the country’s credibility and international image, and providing an opportunity for the country to bring into play its experiences and strengths, while learning from and deepening integration with other countries in performing shared missions.

Vietnam stands ready to participate in the Gaza reconstruction in line with practical conditions and its capabilities, on the basis of respect for national independence, sovereignty and international law, Ambassador Nguyen Nam Duong stressed.

In a pre-visit report, the Cambodian News Agency (AKP) stated that General Secretary Lam will pay a state visit to Cambodia on February 6 at the invitation of King Norodom Sihamoni. The 14th Party Congress has identified multilateral diplomacy as a major and strategic direction for Vietnamese diplomacy, said Ambassador Do Hung Viet, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations, in an interview with the Vietnam News Agency after the 14th National Party Congress concluded in Hanoi on January 23.

Vietnam’s diplomatic approach demonstrates mettle, resolve, independence and a strong capacity to adapt flexibly to the complex and fast-changing regional and global geopolitical environments, according to Prof. Ruhanas Harun of the National Defence University of Malaysia.
