Half a century has passed, but the Ho Chi Minh Campaign - the pinnacle of victory in the Vietnamese revolutionary war - is still fresh in the memory of every Vietnamese person. The historic moments of the campaign were respectfully recorded by a generation of Vietnam News Agency’s reporters in thousands of photos. The photo "Liberation Army tank entering the Independence Palace at noon on April 30, 1975" is one of the moments, taken by journalist Tran Mai Huong (former General Director of Vietnam News Agency) when he and the first group of Vietnamese journalists were present at the Independence Palace at the historic moment of April 30, 1975.
