They must also seriously, effectively and promptly follow the directives of the Politburo, Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels, as well as directions and conclusions of the Central Steering Committee on prevention and control of corruption, wastefulness and negative phenomena. Focus should be placed on thoroughly inspecting and strictly fining any Party organisations or members who violate regulations, particularly in cases under the watch of the Steering Committee, according to the Party chief.

The leader proposed urgently restructuring and streamlining the inspection commission apparatus, ensuring that it is unified, streamlined, strong, effective and efficient while the contingent of inspectors at all levels must have necessary qualities and capabilities.

The Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission was tasked with urgently reviewing and consulting to propose timely amendments and supplements to the Party's regulations on inspection and supervision, ensuring they align with the new Party organisation model nationwide.

To improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the Party inspection, supervision and discipline work, the Party chief requested continued renovation in methods and approaches, acceleration of digital transformation and application of modern technology.

OP-ED: Truth must be respected

Despite Vietnam's efforts and achievements in ensuring human rights, including the protection of freedom of religion and belief, which have been recognised and highly praised by many countries, certain individuals and organisations with hostile ideologies have continued to distort the truth, fabricate stories, and create false narratives with malicious intents.

Vietnam presents viewpoint on national responsibility for climate change response

Countries have the obligation to prevent significant harm to the climate system, cooperate internationally, and adhere to the principle of "common but differentiated responsibilities" in determining their duties, the Vietnamese delegation remarked while attending a session held by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague, the Netherland, from December 2 to 13.

OP-ED: Truth cannot be misrepresented

OP-ED: Vietnam’s undeniable progress in ensuring people’s religious right exposes plots of hostile forces

Vietnam’s Constitution clearly stipulates the equal rights of ethnic groups and the right to freedom of belief and religion, while the Party and State have consistently implemented policies that respect and protect these rights, ensuring equality among ethnic groups and providing the best conditions for minorities to preserve their cultural identities and thrive in all areas, considering this the cornerstone of national great unity and sustainable development. Yet, hostile organisations have continuously used various tactics to undermine the great national unity bloc and spread distorted allegations about religious and ethnic issues in Vietnam.
