Party membership badges bestowed upon former, incumbent NA officials

Hanoi (VNA) – Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Delegation to the National Assembly (NA) and NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended a ceremony held in Hanoi on September 12 to present the 65-year, 40-year, and 30-year Party membership badges to 11 individuals from the Party organisation of the NA Office.

At the ceremony, the top legislator presented the 65-year badge to Nguyen Van An, former Politburo member and former Chairman of the NA.

NA Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh presented the 40-year badge to four Party members, while Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies' Bloc Nguyen Van The awarded the 30-year badges to the remaining six members.

Man remarked that the badge represents the Party's recognition and high appreciation for the senior Party members' contributions and dedication to the Party's glorious revolutionary cause.

He expressed his hope that former NA Chairman An will continue to mentor and guide future generations, thereby contributing to improving the quality of the NA’s activities and fostering rapid, sustainable development in the country.

The NA Chairman also urged those who received the 40-year and 30-year Party membership badges to continue building on their achievements, striving to fulfill their responsibilities, and contributing to strengthening the Party organisation of the NA Office.

On behalf of the awarded Party members, former NA chairman An expressed his deep emotion, joy, pride, and honour.

He stressed that this recognition reflects the Party's assessment of its members' efforts, discipline, and dedication, and is a high honor bestowed upon them./.
