Guinea-Bissau President Umaro Sissoco Embaló and his spouse are currently on an official visit to Vietnam from September 5-9. This visit, made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President To Lam and his spouse, marks the first time a President of Guinea-Bissau has visited Vietnam since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973.
