At 1:00 PM on July 26, 2024, the memorial service for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held at the National Funeral Hall, No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street in Hanoi. Simultaneously, the ceremony took place at the Thong Nhat Hall in Ho Chi Minh City and in his hometown, Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi.
