Party General Secretry To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, attended and delivered a speech at a ceremony in Hanoi on December 20 to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and 35th anniversary of the All-People Defence Festival (December 22).

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the All People’s Defence Festival (December 22, 1989 - 2024), General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Secretary of the Central Military Commission To Lam has written an article titled “Vietnam People’s Army – A pride of the nation”.

The Hanoi People’s Committee has issued Plan No. 347/KH-UBND outlining gift-giving plans for policy beneficiaries. These include people with meritorious services, retirees, those receiving monthly incapacity allowances, poor and near-poor households, social protection beneficiaries, the elderly, and public employees and workers facing especially difficult circumstances.
