Retired teacher with special class
Ms. Le Thi Thoa used to be a primary school teacher. After retiring, she volunteered to become a teacher of the special class at her residential area in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi. Every day, she patiently teaches less fortunate children to play games, learn to write each letter, helping them integrate into life. The class always has about 20 students aged from 10 to over 30 years old, with 3 different study groups: coloring, reading and writing. The class curriculum is very flexible, all based on each person's health, personality and cognitive ability. VNA Photo: Phương Hoa
