Thanh Thuy, Quang Kiet named Vietnam’s flag bearers for 20th ASIAD
Vietnam will field a delegation of nearly 500 members and is targeting at least four gold medals at the continent’s biggest multi-sport event.
Vietnam to send 498-member delegation to 20th ASIAD in Japan
The delegation comprises top athletes competing in key sports including athletics, shooting, swimming, martial arts (wushu, karate, taekwondo and jujitsu), sepak takraw, rowing, canoeing, football, volleyball, golf, fencing and weightlifting. It will also include officials, doctors and international experts.
Vietnam to face RoK once again in volleyball tournament at ASIAD 20
In the 18th Games in 2018, Vietnam lost 0-3 to the RoK in Palembang, Indonesia, but defeated the strong rival 3-2 in the 2023 Games in Hangzhou, China.
