Tra Vinh aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050
Tra Vinh province has 4 thermal power plants and 5 wind and solar power plants in with a total capacity of 4,820MW. In the 2026-2030 period, Tra Vinh has been approved to operate 5 more projects, including rooftop solar power, waste-to-energy and biomass power, increasing the total capacity by 288MW. These projects will help Tra Vinh promote its advantages in developing renewable energy sources and clean energy, becoming the country's renewable energy export center and achieving the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.
