United Nations Day of Vesak Celebrations 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City
A ceremony to start the 20th United Nations Day of Vesak Celebrations (Vesak 2025) was held by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Ho Chi Minh City on May 6. The three-day celebrations, lasting to May 8 under the theme “Unity and Inclusivity for Human Dignity: Buddhist Insights for World Peace and Sustainable Development”, saw the participation of thousands of Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers, as well as delegates from 85 countries and territories worldwide.
