An Giang: High-tech melon farming brings stable income
From once low-yield rice and vegetable fields, many farmers in My Hoa Hung commune, An Giang province, are now shifting to high-tech melon cultivation in greenhouses. A notable example is the model of Huynh Ngoc Dien’s family in My An 2 hamlet, who converted 1,400 square meters of rice land into a melon farm. The shift has brought her a stable livelihood, with income 4–5 times higher than before. Photo: Thanh Sang – VNA
