Early Tet celebration on Bach Long Vi island district
A warm Tet celebration was held on January 13-14 for
residents of Bach Long Vi island district in the northern port city of Hai
Phong. The event was co-organized by the High Command of Coast Guard Region 1,
the Committee for Mass Mobilization under the Hai Phong municipal Party
Committee, and the city’s Department of Customs. A variety of activities were
held as part of the program, such as offering incense at the Bach Long Vi
Martyrs’ Memorial, visiting and extending Tet greeting to 18 armed forces units

Dong Thap province’s Sa Dec city has planted over 100
hectares of various ornamental flowers for the 2025 Lunar New Year market. In
which, the city planted 100,000 chrysanthemum pots and other flowers. Sa Dec’s
chrysanthemums come in 6 different colours, with price ranging from 100,000 -
200,000 VND (3.94 - 7.88 USD) per pot. The flowers can stay fresh for more than

Thanh Tien village in Phu Mau commune, Phu Vang district in
Hue city is located on the southern bank of the Huong River and is famous for
making paper flower offerings, especially lotus flowers. The history of the
paper flower craft dates back over 300 years. Its creations have been displayed
at many festivals and cultural events and also exported to many countries. In
2013, the village was recognised by Hue city as a traditional craft village.

Fields of Chrysanthemum flower, locally known as “King
Daisy”, in Hung Yen province are blossoming in yellow over the New Year
holiday, offering a stunning scene for visitors while helping to increase
income for local famers. Nghia Trai hamlet, Tan Quang commune, Van Lam district
in Hung Yen province is well-known for traditional herbs, especially
chrysanthemum or “king daisy”. The trade is also the locals’ main income.
Planting “king daisy” requires more effort compared to rice but the profit is
higher. The flower has been planted for years, besides their beauty, the royal
flower has plenty of alleged benefits for human’s health such as detoxing,
