For first time in Vietnam: Two lung transplants performed successfully in single day
The National Lung Hospital, in collaboration with experts
and several medical institutions, has successfully performed two lung
transplants for two patients in a single day. This marks the first time in
Vietnam that two lung transplant surgeries have been successfully carried out
in one day. After the transplants, the patients have been receiving continuous
postoperative care and monitoring at the Lung Transplant Centre, 24 hours a
day. At present, their health conditions are progressing well. Photo by
