Hanoi police handle drink-driving violations ahead of Lunar New Year
Following directives from the Ministry of Public Security on ensuring traffic order and safety in 2026, especially before, during and after the 2026 Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse), the Traffic Police Division of Hanoi Police has proactively implemented thematic plans, intensified patrols and inspections, and strictly handled violations, including drink-driving – one of the direct causes of traffic accidents.
