Phu Thinh Bridge spans the Red River, connecting Bac Cuong Ward with Van Hoa Commune in Lao Cai City, in the northern province of Lao Cai. Construction began in 2022 with a total investment of VND 450 billion. The bridge is 250 metres long, consisting of five spans, with a deck width of 15.5 metres at the cast-in-place segment, expanding to 30.5 metres at the scenic overlook area. It officially opened to traffic in early 2025. This is the sixth bridge in Lao Cai City and the ninth in the province to cross the Red River. The General Department of Taxation requires effective implementation of tax management for electronic commerce activities (e-commerce) and electronic invoices (e-invoices) initiated from cash registers. The central city of Da Nang has decided to preserve natural forests right in the heart of the city. Da Nang is currently the only locality in the country that owns three special-use forests: Ba Na - Nui Chua Nature Reserve, Son Tra Nature Reserve and Nam Hai Van Landscape Protection Area. According to statistics from the Da Nang City Forest Protection Department, in this ecological areas, nearly 1,700 species of plants and 443 species of animals have been recorded, a rare biodiversity density in urban areas of Vietnam. Plums, called Tam Hoa plums, in Bac Ha in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai, are in harvest season. Out of all of Vietnam's different plums, most say Bac Ha's are the tastiest because they're so sweet and have small pits. The region is called the White Plateau because it's home to more than 1,000ha of plum trees. It'sthe northwest region's biggest plum-growing area.
