Ho Chi Minh City launches peak campaign to collect samples for identifying fallen soldiers’ remains
The Steering Committee for Search, Collection and Identification of Fallen Soldiers’ Remains (Steering Committee 515) in Ho Chi Minh City launched a pilot program to collect and hand over samples from unidentified martyrs’ graves at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs Cemetery on May 20, 2026. The activity is part of the “500-day intensive campaign for searching, collecting and identifying fallen soldiers’ remains” and toward the 80th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2027).
