Mountain schools in Nghe An “race against time” for new school year opening
Heavy rains triggered by tropical storms No. 3 and No. 5 have caused severe damage to many schools in mountainous areas of Nghe An province. The provincial Department of Education and Training has requested schools to report and assess the damage. The department will mobilize resources to help schools recover from the floods, with priority given to ensuring conditions for the school opening ceremony and the new academic year.
