National Assembly and People’s Council elections: Highland Nghe An gears up for polling day
Preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, scheduled for March 15, 2026, in mountainous communes of Nghe An province are entering the final stage, with coordinated efforts of the entire political system and strong public consensus. The province has established six election boards for National Assembly deputies, 20 boards for provincial People’s Council deputies, 1,039 commune-level election boards and 3,123 polling stations.
