Ninh Binh builds consensus in rearranging villages and residential groups
Ninh Binh currently has 4,482 villages and residential groups. After reviewing and developing a rearrangement plan, the number of villages and residential groups is expected to decrease to around 1,500, reducing nearly 3,000 units compared with the current figure. The rearrangement has received support and consensus from local residents as many old village names have been restored, in line with historical traditions, cultural values and the collective memories of communities.
