Policy credit - bright spot in implementing sustainable poverty reduction in An Giang
With the motto “Understanding the people, devoted service,” over recent years the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in An Giang Province has coordinated with mass organizations to channel preferential loans to the right beneficiaries, including poor and near-poor households and other policy beneficiaries. Policy credit has helped borrowers invest in production and business, shift crops and livestock, preserve and develop traditional crafts, thereby contributing to sustainable poverty reduction, job creation and social stability in the locality.
