Quang Tri – Clean energy hub of central Vietnam
The Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025–2030 term identifies energy- particularly clean energy - as one of four strategic pillars of the economy and a key driving force for Quang Tri’s transformation into the clean energy hub of Central Vietnam. Under Vietnam’s Power Development Plan VIII, Quang Tri is projected to develop nearly 13,000 MW of power capacity by 2030 and add almost 3,900 MW more during 2031–2035 - a significant leap that transforms potential into practical strength.
