Seven new airports to be put into operation by 2030
These include two flagship airports, Long Thanh and Gia Binh, and five others, namely Quang Tri, Phan Thiet, Sa Pa, Tho Chu and Thanh Son.

Reaffirming the deadline, Prime Minister Chinh stressed that construction must be completed by the third quarter of 2026 at the latest, to enable commercial operations in the fourth quarter.
