According to the Global Startup Ecosystem Index 2026 released by StartupBlink, Vietnam climbed five places to rank 50th globally, marking its highest position ever in the annual rankings.
The decree provides for a minimum support level of 2 million VND per woman for ethnic minority women from very small population groups, women living in provinces and cities with fertility rates below replacement level, and women who have two children before the age of 35.
According to Nikkei, Prime Minister Takaichi affirmed that Japan will continue to promote the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam and coordinate efforts to build a “stronger and more prosperous” region.
Under the newly announced framework, the State Bank of Vietnam is targeting inflation at around 4.5% per annum, while maintaining a flexible and accommodative monetary stance, with readiness to provide liquidity support when necessary.
