A key highlight will be the active involvement of Vietnam’s overseas trade offices in promoting the fair and inviting international partners and businesses to attend.
The RoK’s exports to Vietnam rose 7.6% in 2025 from a year earlier to 62.8 billion USD, while imports from Vietnam climbed 11.7% to 31.8 billion USD, according to data released by the RoK’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA).
Vietnam's total trade in 2025 reached about 920 billion USD, up 16.9% year on year. Of the total, exports were valued at 470.59 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%, while imports amounted to 449.41 billion USD, up 18%, resulting in a trade surplus of around 21.2 billion USD.
The total import-export turnover reached nearly 840 billion USD in the first 11 months of this year, up 17.2% year-on-year, with a trade surplus of over 20 billion USD. With this performance, the target of 900 billion USD in foreign trade is well within reach.
Vietnam has become an “indispensable partner” in China’s production and trade network across Southeast Asia, said a professor from the Academy of Regional and Global Governance at the Beijing Foreign Studies University.
Vietnam has continued to strengthen its position as Singapore’s 10th largest trading partner, with bilateral trade reaching a total of 33 billion SGD (around 25.3 billion USD) in the first ten months of 2025, setting a new record for their trade volume.
