Vung Ang 2 thermal power plant - New driver for national energy security
Vung Ang 2 thermal power plant in the central province of Ha Tinh officially commenced commercial operation of its first generating unit on July 22, 2025. With a capacity of 665 MW and the application of state-of-the-art technology, the plant has contributed more than 254 million kWh of electricity to the national grid after just seven months of operation.
