Following its merger, Can Tho city has a large female population, with 106 affiliated units, 1,230 hamlet and neighborhood branches, more than 930,100 women aged 18 and above, and over 647,600 members. In response to new practical requirements, the Can Tho Women’s Union has focused on renewing its operating methods to make them more flexible and closely connected with local communities, while improving the quality of its officials at all levels.
