Adjusting planning of Hoan Kiem Lake area: Creating new spaces while preserving capital’s “heart”
Hanoi is collecting public opinions on the partial adjustment of the H1-1B and H1-1C urban subdivision plans, at a scale of 1:2,000, covering Hoan Kiem Lake and surrounding areas. The plan aims to expand public spaces, increase green areas, connect historical, cultural and artistic sites, and develop a modern transport system, while preserving the landscape, urban memories and special values of the capital’s central area.
