New boarding schools nurture knowledge in border areas
New multi-level boarding schools have been built, completed
and put into use in time for the 2026-2027 academic year in border communes,
many of which are home to large ethnic minority communities. The schools help
meet students’ learning needs, while their modern and well-equipped facilities
provide a safe and favorable learning environment, helping teachers and
students improve the quality of teaching and learning. Investment in schools in
disadvantaged areas also helps narrow the education gap, raise educational
standards and create momentum for socio-economic development in border regions.
