81st National Day: Realizing Vietnam's aspiration for national rise
In the autumn of 1945, at historic Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Eighty-one years after that sacred moment, 2026 also marks the first year of implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the launch of a new development period for the country. This requires the entire political system to act decisively and urgently, bringing about tangible changes to achieve rapid, sustainable and self-reliant development and realize the aspiration for a powerful and prosperous Vietnam.
