The Resolution of the 1st Party Congress of Quang Tri Province for the 2025–2030 tenure sets the goal of building Quang Tri into a new growth pole in the central region. Under the plan, Dong Hoi is being comprehensively developed into the province’s political, administrative, executive, and public service center - serving as the driving force for Quang Tri’s aspiration to reach the open sea.
