Viet Duc University Hospital announced its first successful simultaneous lung and heart transplant in Vietnam for a patient with multiple organ failure on August 13. The patient, Tran Nhu Q, was in critical condition due to severe multiple organ failure, with her risk of death increasing daily. She was reliant on medication to sustain her life. The Seraphin waste-to-energy plant (AMACCAO Group) in Tung Thien ward of Hanoi is the second largest in Southeast Asia to apply technology that converts waste into electricity, with 100% domestic investment. The 500kV ultra-high-voltage power transmission line project from Lao Cai to Vinh Yen has a total investment of over VND 7.41 trillion, spanning 229.5 km and passing through 31 communes in two provinces (13 in Lao Cai and 18 in Phu Tho). Of this, the section in Lao Cai province is 139.66 km long, while the section in Phu Tho province is 89.84 km.
