Vietnam to export first batch of low-emission rice

On June 5, the ‘Green and low-emission Vietnamese rice’ trademark will officially enter the export market. The first shipment, bound for Japan, is seen as a significant breakthrough for the rice industry. This also marks the initial success of the ‘Sustainable development of one million hectares of high-quality, low-emission rice associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta by 2030’ project (referred to as the one-million-hectare rice project). Saint Giong Festival – World Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity

The Saint Giong Festival has been evaluated by domestic and foreign researchers as the most unique among the 8,000 traditional folk festivals of Vietnam with special cultural and religious values.
