Quang Tri border guards carry students across streams to attend school opening ceremony
On the morning of September 5, 2025, in Cu Bai Village, Huong Lap Commune, officers and soldiers of Huong Lap Border Guard Station under Quang Tri Border Guard Command personally went to the homes of Van Kieu and Pa Co ethnic students from disadvantaged families whom they sponsor, to escort them to the school opening ceremony. To ensure the children arrived on time, the officers took a shortcut of more than 3 km instead of the nearly 10 km main road to reach Huong Lap Semi-boarding Ethnic Primary and Secondary School.
