Young teacher dedicates many years to remote and disadvantaged areas
Teacher Dinh Le Thu has been working at Bay Cua satellite school of Duong Hoa Primary School in Duong Hoa commune, Quang Ninh Province, dedicating 17 years to remote and disadvantaged areas. Despite hardships, long travel distances and language barriers - with all students belonging to the Dao ethnic group - she remains committed to her classroom, bringing knowledge to children in mountainous, isolated communities. She has received various awards, including a Certificate of Merit from the provincial People’s Committee and one from the Prime Minister for the 2024–2025 academic year, and was honored in the 2025 “Sharing with Teachers” program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Youth Federation.
