Hanoi promotes learning society through development of community learning centers
As an official member of the UNESCO Global Network ofLearning Cities, Hanoi is advancing the development of a learning society byestablishing community learning centers that respond to practical needs. Beyondformal education, the initiative aims to create flexible and diverse learningopportunities closely connected with the daily lives and livelihoods of peopleof all ages. In the initial phase, Hanoi is piloting model community learningcenters in Thanh Liet, Thanh Oai, and Hoai Duc. In addition to expandinglifelong learning opportunities, these centers help improve human resourcequality, promote digital transformation, and support local socio-economicdevelopment, in line with Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthrough developmentin education and training.
