Hanoi promotes learning society through development of community learning centers
As an official member of the UNESCO Global Network of
Learning Cities, Hanoi is advancing the development of a learning society by
establishing community learning centers that respond to practical needs. Beyond
formal education, the initiative aims to create flexible and diverse learning
opportunities closely connected with the daily lives and livelihoods of people
of all ages. In the initial phase, Hanoi is piloting model community learning
centers in Thanh Liet, Thanh Oai, and Hoai Duc. In addition to expanding
lifelong learning opportunities, these centers help improve human resource
quality, promote digital transformation, and support local socio-economic
development, in line with Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW on breakthrough development

Covering nearly 30 hectares, Bau Da wetland forest is home to a rich ecosystem of native flora and fauna. For generations, residents of Hoa Thinh commune, Dak Lak province have relied on the forest for their livelihoods, harvesting aquatic resources while protecting it as a vital ecological asset.
Son La province’s Muong La commune currently has 360
hectares cultivating rice on terraced rice fields. They are the local ethnic
minorities’ characteristic way of rice cultivation. Each year from May to late
July, during the planting season, the terraced rice fields don a new coat of
young green rice plants and the glossy, reflective beauty of water on the
fields. Under the sunlight, the terraces shimmer like giant mirrors, reflecting
the blue sky, drifting clouds and surrounding green mountains, creating a
breathtaking natural landscape that resembles a vast watercolor painting. Photo:

The Agency for Domestic Market Management and Development
under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with the Lang Son
Department of Industry and Trade, organized the “Vietnamese Goods Vitality” program
under the theme “Lang Son Corner” at the “Vietnamese Goods Vitality” exhibition
and livestream space (62 Trang Tien Street, Hanoi) from July 31 to August 2,
2026. The event showcased Lang Son’s specialty products, including fresh
agricultural produce, processed farm products, processed foods, and OCOP
products, to consumers in Hanoi. Through on-site exhibitions, direct sales, and
livestream sessions on digital platforms, the program enabled enterprises and
cooperatives to adopt modern business methods, expand their customer base,
strengthen their online brand presence, and enhance multi-channel sales

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee held
a conference in Hanoi on July 31, 2026 to study, learn and disseminate the
Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth
Union for the 2026–2031 term. The conference was held in a hybrid format,
combining in-person and online participation, connecting the central venue at
the Vietnam Youth Academy with provincial and municipal Youth Union chapters,
affiliated Youth Union organizations, public service units under the Central
Committee in the central and southern regions, and the Youth Union, Vietnam
