The heroic 81-day battle (28 June – 16 September 1972) to defend the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel stands as an epic chapter in the history of Vietnam’s struggle for national liberation. Thousands of revolutionary soldiers, cadres, and civilians bravely sacrificed their lives, becoming one with the motherland.
