The Vietnamese delegation, led by the Ministry of Education and Training, will officially inaugurate the Vietnam Education Exhibition at APAIE 2026 on February 23.
Successful applicants will receive full financial support from the Cuban Government, covering tuition, accommodation, meals and health insurance for the entire five- to six-year course, including a preparatory year in Spanish.
The STEM classrooms should serve as meaningful and practical spaces where students can explore, experience and access knowledge, strengthen creative capacity and critical thinking, and achieve breakthrough learning outcomes that contribute to national development, said Deputy PM Pham Thi Thanh Tra.
The annual event provides a platform for students to hone skills in financial analysis, company valuation, and investment pitching—essential for careers in international finance. This year’s competition attracted over 150 students from universities across the UK, Vietnam, and other countries.
Vietnam continued to lead the region in both key areas. The average Reading score was 323.5 points and Mathematics 334.6 points, maintaining the top positions despite slight declines from 2019. Some 66% of Vietnamese pupils reached advanced proficiency in Reading while the regional average was 40% and 88% in Mathematics with the regional average reaching 36%.
All six students representing Vietnam at the 22nd International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO 2025) in Russia have won medals, securing three silvers and three bronzes, according to Hanoi’s Department of Education and Training.
