Party General Secretary To Lam and Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Kim Min-seok attended a Vietnam - Republic of Korea Economic Forum in Seoul on August 12 as part of the former’s state visit to the Northeast Asian country.

The parade and march in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day will take place at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, on the morning of September 2, 2025.

Party General Secretary To Lam visited Yonsei University, one of the Republic of Korea’s oldest and most prestigious institutions, and delivered a keynote speech, as part of his ongoing state visit to the RoK on August 11 (local time).

At the invitation of President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung and his spouse, Party General Secretary To Lam and his spouse, along with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, are paying a state visit to the Republic of Korea from August 10 to 13, 2025. Party General Secretary To Lam is the first state guest to visit the country since President Lee took office. The visit is expected to elevate the Vietnam–Republic of Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to new heights, while opening up fresh directions for development in key and potential areas of cooperation, particularly in science, technology and innovation.
