Vietnam–Republic of Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership

At the invitation of President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung and his spouse, Party General Secretary To Lam and his spouse, along with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, are paying a state visit to the Republic of Korea from August 10 to 13, 2025. Party General Secretary To Lam is the first state guest to visit the country since President Lee took office. The visit is expected to elevate the Vietnam–Republic of Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to new heights, while opening up fresh directions for development in key and potential areas of cooperation, particularly in science, technology and innovation.
