Efforts to complete Lao Cai – Vinh Yen 500kV Power Transmission Line Project on schedule
The 500kV ultra-high-voltage power transmission line project from Lao Cai to Vinh Yen has a total investment of over VND 7.41 trillion, spanning 229.5 km and passing through 31 communes in two provinces (13 in Lao Cai and 18 in Phu Tho). Of this, the section in Lao Cai province is 139.66 km long, while the section in Phu Tho province is 89.84 km. The project is now entering its peak construction phase, with contractors across the route working closely to accelerate progress, especially in areas with challenging terrain, determined to energize the line before August 19, 2025, as scheduled by the Prime Minister.
