Ninh Binh currently has 4,482 villages and residential groups. After reviewing and developing a rearrangement plan, the number of villages and residential groups is expected to decrease to around 1,500, reducing nearly 3,000 units compared with the current figure. According to the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, Con Son, the largest island in the Con Dao archipelago, is renowned for its dramatic granite cliffs, pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters off Vietnam’s southeastern coast.

The island commune of Tam Hai in Da Nang city is home to the nationally recognised scenic site of Ban Than – Hon Mang – Hon Dua, a unique geological formation dating back around 400 million years, distinguished by its striking black rock strata.

Along the tranquil Chau Doc River, the Cham village of Chau Phong (Chau Phong commune, An Giang province) still preserves a traditional brocade weaving craft that is over a hundred years old. From time-worn hand looms, Cham artisans diligently create vibrant brocade fabrics, deeply rooted in their ethnic cultural identity. Besides preserving the traditional craft, the villagers also create many products to serve tourism needs such as scarves, bags, clothing, and souvenirs. The combination of preserving cultural heritage with developing community tourism has helped the village attract visitors eager to observe the weaving process, learn about Cham traditions, and purchase handmade products directly from local artisans.
