Phu Thinh Bridge (Lao Cai) – A landmark in urban landscape along red river

Phu Thinh Bridge spans the Red River, connecting Bac Cuong Ward with Van Hoa Commune in Lao Cai City, in the northern province of Lao Cai. Construction began in 2022 with a total investment of VND 450 billion. The bridge is 250 metres long, consisting of five spans, with a deck width of 15.5 metres at the cast-in-place segment, expanding to 30.5 metres at the scenic overlook area. It officially opened to traffic in early 2025. This is the sixth bridge in Lao Cai City and the ninth in the province to cross the Red River.
